Life Group FAQ

WHAT IS A LIFE GROUP?

Life Groups are small groups that meet in someone’s home for building authentic relationships and spiritual growth. We believe sustained life change happens best in the context of Life Groups. In Life Groups, people study God’s Word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It is also where they pray, care for one another, and are missed if they are absent for any reason. They are for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity

WHY SHOULD I BE IN A LIFE GROUP?

We believe intentional relationships are a key to sustained spiritual growth. That’s why small groups are such an important part of our discipleship stragegy. Life Groups allow believers to grow closer to one another and develop friendships with others at Grace Church. Participating in Life Groups not only unites people together, but also fosters spiritual growth. We place a high premium on Life Groups because we cannot personally as a staff, minister to everyone who attends our church. It is a tool to minister effectively to our church family.

WHEN & WHERE DO GROUPS MEET?

Our groups meet at different times. Most married groups meet in the evenings, while men’s and women’s groups meet mornings and evenings. While most groups meet in a consistent location (the home of a group member), some groups prefer to take turns meeting in different members’ homes.

HOW OFTEN DO LIFE GROUPS MEET?

Groups meet the first, third, and fifth week (when it applies) of every month.
