Grace Shift
5th & 6th Grade
Grace Shift understands that the shift from children’s ministry to youth is a big change in the lives of the children and parents. We help them understand the changes that are happening and get them ready for the “Big” transition to Grace Oneighty. Grace Shift takes place during the 10:30am service on Sundays.
A key part of the meaning of faith may have been lost in translation. The Greek word family used for words like faith, believe, and trust are active words. Believing in God isn’t just an intellectual agreement with His existence—it’s an ongoing active behavioral response. This series helps walk students from the first step of choosing to believe in who God is, seeing that He is in fact worthy of our trust and faith, believing He will do what He promises, and then learning what it looks like to put our faith in Him in an active way on a daily basis. By the end of this series, the goal is for students (and you leaders) to trust God with their whole life, their daily decisions, and every step along the way!
