OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT: WHY WE EXIST AS A CHURCH
The purpose statement of Grace Church is derived from the final words of Jesus to His followers. These words are known as the Great Commission. Grace Church exists to Connect People to God’s Grace, to reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Mission of Grace Church
Our mission is the “How To” of the Vision. Below is an explanation of each letter in the word GRACE. Each letter is vital part of how Grace Church plans to connect people to God’s grace.
Give Myself is about giving your life to Jesus by repenting of sin and making Him Lord of your life. It’s also about giving yourself to others. At Grace Church we are committed to Connecting People to God’s Grace.
Serving others is vital to our spiritual journey toward Christ-Centered ness. That’s what the value “Reach Inward” is all about serving through a ministry team here at Grace.
The Great Commission presented by Jesus to His followers was to evangelize the world by making disciples. We want to “Act Outward” and touch lives in our community and around the world like Jesus commanded.
Connecting Together in this journey of faith is vital to our spiritual growth- doing life together as followers of Jesus. Life Groups are smaller groups of people connected because of a common season of life or interest.
At Grace Church, one of our core values is to “Equip One Another” in the Gospel. We want you to be equipped with the Word of God and have confidence in what you believe through strong Biblical knowledge. You can find this knowledge in The Source (our Christian Education) classes.
