In the U.S. on Furlough (Sept – Jan)
Jacob and I started furlough last month after completing our first two-year term in Tanzania. We landed in Houston on a Friday afternoon and Jacob spoke that Sunday morning. This set our pace for the next four months of travel across the U.S. Our top priority while we are here is to visit our friends, family, and supporting churches, to fellowship and give a report about what we’ve been doing for the last 2 years. God has blessed us with so much favor during our short time in the States and we are so thankful to all of our friends, old and new, who have fed us, housed us and helped us over the last 2 months. It has been really, really nice to see so many familiar faces, to catch up on what has been going on, and to eat good food with good friends. We are going to remain in the US through Christmas, and will be headed back to Tanzania for another few years in January.
