If you have a Jr. High or High School Student Grace Oneighty is the place for them.

Weekly we open our doors as a place for them to connect and be challenged by God’s word.

Sunday Morning @ 9:45 a.m. we have a program we call “Awaken” in the Grace Oneighty building.  It’s all about learning God’s word and having fun doing it.

Wednesday night the Grace Oneighty doors open again at 6:30 p.m. for our Grace Oneighty service.  Our services include fun games, inspiring worship, and a challenging word.  We are focused on reaching and teaching the leaders of tomorrow.

Grace Oneighty Mission Statement:

The heart of Grace Oneighty student ministry is to lead Jr. high and High School students in a genuine pursuit of a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Vision (The “How To”):

Building leadership teams to help direct the future growth of our students.  Those leadership teams will be focused in the areas of “Giving our life, ministry within the church, missions, connecting, and equipping”, using the acrostic G.R.A.C.E.  These teams are defined below.

G.R.A.C.E.

G-Giving Myself

At Grace Oneighty we desire to promote the importance of “Giving Ourselves” to Jesus and the gospel message.  We will provide opportunities for students to “Give Themselves” weekly in submission to Jesus, as well as provide opportunities for them to share the gospel message.

R-Reaching Inward

Reaching inward is living a lifestyle of ministry.  Grace Oneighty desires to help students understand their own personal ministry gifts and abilities; whether it is with leading worship, drama, serving, or answering a call of missions.

A-Act Outward

Acting outward will help Grace Oneighty students to focus on living lives beyond themselves.  These opportunities will be missional, focused on sharing Jesus to the lost and less fortunate.  We will act outward here in the MetroEast, in the Midwest region, across our country, and ultimately go to the ends of the earth.  Our desire is to show students how to “Give” just as Jesus gave of Himself.

C-Connecting Together

Grace Oneighty desires to be a place of connection, to be a place where students from all walks of life can come and truly feel like they belong no matter what their past life or economic status might be.  We will do this by specifically creating events that are focused solely on the purpose of connecting students to one another, becoming “The Body of Christ”.

E-Equipping One Another

“Go and make disciples” was the great call of Jesus to His disciples; though the methods may change the message must stay consistent.  We must lead students to be disciples of the great and loving God that we greatly serve.  We will focus our efforts toward discipleship through our Sunday Morning Christian Education hour as well as creating deep and meaning small groups.
